Privacy Policy
Effective date: 19 September 2026. Last updated: 19 September 2026.
Coin Sense (“we”, “us”) publishes educational money videos on YouTube. This policy explains what data our production tool handles and what we do with it. In short: the tool only works with the channel owner’s own Google account and the channel’s own data. We do not sell data, and we do not collect personal data from visitors.
1. Who we are
Coin Sense is operated by its channel owner. Contact: info@coinsense.online.
2. Our website
This website is a set of static pages. It does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and it has no sign-up or comment forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security and operations.
3. Google and YouTube data we access
Our production tool asks the channel owner, through Google’s standard sign-in and consent screen, for permission to access the owner’s own account. It requests only what it needs:
- YouTube Data API: to upload Coin Sense videos to the Coin Sense channel, set their title, description and privacy status, and read basic information about the channel’s own videos (for example titles and publish times).
- YouTube Analytics API and YouTube Reporting API (read-only): to read the channel’s own performance figures, such as views, watch time, average view duration, likes, comments count, shares and audience retention. We use these numbers only to decide which topics and video styles to make next.
- Google Sheets: to read and write one planning spreadsheet owned by the channel owner (a topic list and a log of published videos).
We do not access anyone else’s Google account. We do not access viewers’ personal information. Analytics figures are aggregated numbers provided by YouTube. Public comments on our own videos may be read to understand common viewer questions; we do not sell them, publish them elsewhere, or use them to identify individuals.
4. How we use and store the data
- Data is used only to run and improve the Coin Sense channel: uploading videos, planning topics and measuring results.
- Sign-in tokens and results are stored in the channel owner’s private automation software on the owner’s own computer and in the owner’s own Google Sheet. They are not shared with third parties and are not used for advertising.
- We do not sell, rent or trade any Google user data.
- No human other than the channel owner reads the data, except as needed for security, to comply with the law, or with the owner’s consent.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Coin Sense’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. YouTube API Services
Coin Sense uses YouTube API Services. By using Coin Sense’s videos or channel you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep analytics figures and the planning spreadsheet for as long as the channel is active, so that we can see long-term trends. If you want us to delete any information that relates to you (for example a comment you wrote on one of our videos that we have noted), email us and we will remove it. The channel owner can delete stored Google tokens at any time.
8. Revoking access
The channel owner can revoke Coin Sense’s access to a Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After access is revoked, the tool can no longer read or upload anything.
9. Children
Coin Sense is a general-audience money education channel and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described on this page.
